QuarkPromote.com is an online service that that helps entrepreneurs and small businesses, the customer, in the United States easily create their own high-quality, professional marketing materials such as business cards, postcards, brochures, flyers, data sheets, letterhead, envelopes, coupons, and appointment cards.

QuarkPromote.com offers customers access to customizable templates that include hundreds of all-purpose templates and thousands of templates designed for numerous industries. Industry-specific templates come complete with suggested marketing text and stock photos.

With QuarkPromote.com, customer can create marketing materials in three easy steps. Customers first shop through the templates by industry or product type to find one that best suits their business. They then customize the template with information about their business, select a color theme, and print a local proof on their desktop printer. When finished, they can choose to order their print job to be picked up at a nearby neighborhood printer within three business days or received by mail within ten business days. Quark partners with output providers to fulfill print jobs

Quark partners with neighborhood printers and print-by-mail providers, includes both print franchises and privately owned print shops, across the United States to fulfill print jobs ordered on QuarkPromote.com.

Whether the print jobs are ordered to be picked up at a neighborhood printer or received by mail, the Quark Promote authorized print partner is found by zip code. When the customer chooses prints-by-mail and types in their zip code, QuarkPromote.com goes to work behind the scenes and locates an output provider with consideration for the type of job and the location of the customer. When the customer chooses neighborhood printer, their zip code is used to generate a list and Bing map of qualifying shops near their zip code. The customer may select any company from the list and are not required to select the output provider nearest them.

Neighborhood output provider

The neighborhood output provider typically has one or more digital presses. This shop can output up to an 11 X 17" project with full bleed. They may or may not have offset presses that can handle the same sheet size. Neighborhood printers without offset equipment will not receive jobs from Quark Promote that require offset (such as envelopes and letterhead).

Prints-by-mail output provider

Typically, a prints-by-mail output provider is a larger shop with both digital and offset presses. In many cases, they do not have a customer-reception area. Completed print jobs are shipped to the customer under the Quark brand rather than picked up by the customer. This provider type does not have direct contact with the customer and questions about the job being printed are dealt with by Quark's support department.
