What is Quark Promote?
Quark Promote is a new online web-to-print service (QuarkPromote.com) (SEE: Quark Promote — a new direction for Quark). Unlike other web-to-print services, Quark is not an output provider. We do not compete in your market. Instead, we have chosen to partner with you in order to allow the customer immediate-delivery options. This also enables you to meet the customer when they come in to pick up their job and perhaps up-sell them other products. For instance, if they have purchased postcards announcing their new location through Quark Promote, you might suggest to them that they print a sign as well. In short, we are providing you incremental-revenue opportunities while introducing you to customers you might not have met without a strong web presence and online ordering.

What is a QuarkAlliance output provider?
The QuarkAlliance program is Quark's partner program. There are several programs, including the output provider program. Our program is very similar to programs offered by other software companies. As a member, you receive priority technical support, a listing on our web page, and even free and discounted software. For more information about the QuarkAlliance programs, click here.
What is the offer?
For a limited time, if you are an Adobe® Service Network (ASN) print service provider partner (complimentary or basic-level memberships do not qualify), you may join our QuarkAlliance output provider, authorized partner program for free. This program is normally US$495 and includes a copy of QuarkXPress 8 or two complimentary upgrades to any of your previous versions. If you are based in the US, you may also join our Quark Promote output provider program for free. The Quark Promote program is free whether or not you are a current ASN print service provider member.
If you are a current QuarkAlliance output provider, authorized partner, you may apply for a complimentary one-year extension to your enrollment.
If you are an output provider, but do not currently belong to ASN or QuarkAlliance, you may enroll at the regular enrollment. You may choose the community member level that is free, but does not include software, or the authorized partner level that is $495. For information on international pricing, click here.
What program should you join?
You must first choose which program you wish to join: QuarkAlliance or Quark Promote. You may join both.
- Current ASN print service provider member: If you are a current ASN print provider partner (complimentary or basic-level memberships do not qualify), there is no charge for the QuarkAlliance enrollment. The Quark Promote fee is waived regardless of your ASN status.
- Not an ASN print service provider partner?: If you are not an ASN member, you may still join QuarkAlliance. We have two levels: community member (this is free but there is no software included) and authorized partner (US$495).
- Current QuarkAlliance output provider, authorized partner: Our current members will receive a one-year renewal also at no cost. You will also receive the free software benefit as long as you have not received free QuarkXPress 8 under your current enrollment.

As indicated above, some applicants may purchase a renewal, while others will qualify for a free enrollment or renewal. We ask that you indicate your preferred payment method, but we do not contact you for payment details unless there is a fee.
What happens when you click submit?

Why do we require banking information from Quark Promote applicants?
When you join Quark Promote, it is a different type of relationship with Quark. You are providing print services for which Quark will pay you. With this in mind, we also ask you to complete a Quark vendor form with banking details. This enables us to make ACH deposits directly into your account for the jobs that you print. This is not an online form due to the sensitivity of the information we are collecting. You may fax your completed form to 303 600 0069.
Why do we require a Quark global NDA?
As a member of our output provider programs, you are entitled to participate in our pre-release programs. All participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement. Additionally, as a member in any QuarkAlliance or Quark Promote program, we are likely to share private company information with you. In advance of this, we ensure that we have established a non-disclosure agreement.

Existing ASN (Adobe Service Network) members will receive a complimentary one-year enrollment in the Quark Alliance output provider program as an authorized partner and/or the Quark Promote output provider program (US) as an authorized neighborhood printer or prints-by-mail provider. Accepted members will receive all benefits due under the QuarkAlliance program. For more information on current benefits, click here.
- Output provider must show proof of purchase or proof of membership in the Adobe Service network. Membership must be valid until at least 4 February 2010.
- When providing copies of documents, Quark reserves the right to reject any document that, in our sole discretion, is deemed unverifiable as an Adobe-issued document or that appears altered in any manner. In this case, we may request additional documentation, for example, a credit card receipt.
Current members of the QuarkAlliance output provider, authorized partner program are eligible for a complimentary one-year membership renewal and/or enrollment in the Quark Promote output provider program (US) as an authorized neighborhood printer or prints-by-mail provider.
- Output provider must have a current QuarkAlliance output provider, authorized partner enrollment valid until at least 4 February 2010.
- Enrollment benefits will include a complimentary copy of QuarkXPress 8 or two complimentary upgrades only if a complimentary copy of QuarkXPress 8 or complimentary upgrade copy of QuarkXPress 8 has not been issued under the terms of the current QuarkAlliance enrollment.
All US output providers are eligible for complimentary enrollment in the Quark Promote output provider program (US-only program) as an authorized neighborhood printer or prints-by-mail provider.
- Output provider must have at least one digital press that is capable of printing at least 11 X 17" with full bleed.
- Output provider must print and submit for quality review five copies of the Quark Promote sample files.
- Output provider must also submit a Quark vendor form with banking details.
